Postgresql DBA Position

We are seeking an experienced Postgresql DBA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration and be proficient in managing large-scale Postgresql databases.

Responsibilities
  • Aid the consulting team in different phases of the project including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation and design and deployment
  • Explore alternatives to recommended solutions based on research that includes literature surveys, information available in public domains, vendor evaluation information, etc.
  • Create requirement specifications from business needs, define to-be-processes and detailed functional designs based on requirements
  • Support configuring solution requirements on products, understand issues, diagnose root-causes, seek clarifications and identify shortlisted solution alternatives
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years experience as Postgresql DBA
  • Strong knowledge of Postgresql databases and data management principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
