Job Title: Senior Solar Design Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solar Design Manager to lead our solar project design team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire design lifecycle from conceptualization to execution.

Your primary focus will be on managing project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations while ensuring that all projects meet technical specifications and industry standards.

About You

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong background in electrical engineering with a minimum of 10 years' experience in solar PV design and project management. Your expertise should include optimizing designs to meet client requirements and project demands, as well as leading a team of engineers to ensure timely delivery of drawings and project-specific documents.

In addition, you should possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage site teams, consultants, design teams, SCM, BD, and execution teams for smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire design process for solar PV power plants, ensuring that all projects meet technical specifications and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to define project requirements and present design solutions and progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Develop and review design plans, specifications, and construction documents, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international codes and standards.
Requirements

We are looking for someone who is proficient in design software and tools such as AutoCAD, PVSyst, Sketchup, and Helioscope. A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering is required, along with a minimum of 10 years' experience in solar PV design and project management.

We also require strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
