Cybersecurity Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cybersecurity group, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network security infrastructure with a focus on Palo Alto Networks firewalls.

You will maintain and configure enterprise-wide firewalls, VPNs, and security policies to ensure secure network access and data transmission. Additionally, you will monitor network traffic for unusual activity using threat detection tools and respond to security incidents promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage network security infrastructure with a focus on Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
  • Maintain and configure enterprise-wide firewalls, VPNs, and security policies to ensure secure network access and data transmission.
  • Monitor network traffic for unusual activity using threat detection tools and respond to security incidents promptly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network security aligns with organizational policies and compliance requirements.
  • Perform regular network risk assessments and vulnerability scans, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Configure and maintain network routing and switching environments, ensuring optimal performance and high availability.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide timely resolutions to maintain uninterrupted services.
  • Document network architecture, security configurations, and changes made to infrastructure for audit and compliance purposes.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5-10 years of experience as a Network Engineer.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewall administration and security policy configuration.
  • Minimum 4 years of strong experience in routing and switching technologies.
  • Experience with network design, implementation, and troubleshooting in enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and security incident response processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Any Graduation.
