Life Insurance Product Development Manager

The role of the AVP Product is pivotal in driving strategic initiatives and ensuring operational excellence. It's a high-impact position that requires leadership skills to align departmental goals with the company's vision.

This position oversees cross-functional teams and manages projects to enhance customer experience, regulatory compliance, and profitability.

  1. Product Ideation & Market Research: Develop innovative life insurance products by researching market trends and customer needs.
  2. Product Design & Pricing Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to design competitive pricing strategies for life insurance products.
  3. Internal Approvals & Governance: Obtain necessary approvals and ensure governance compliance for new product launches.
  4. Regulatory Filing – IRDAI Coordination: Coordinate with regulatory bodies to file necessary documents for new product launches.
  5. Pre-Launch Preparation & Testing: Conduct thorough testing and preparation before launching new life insurance products.
  6. Go-to-Market strategies: Develop effective go-to-market strategies to promote new life insurance products.
  7. Product Launch & Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the performance of new life insurance products after launch.
  8. Regulatory & Risk Management Post-Launch: Continuously monitor and manage regulatory and risk-related issues post-launch.
  9. Stakeholder Reporting: Provide regular reports to stakeholders on product performance and progress.
  10. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement: Lead and engage with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and success.

To succeed in this role, you must be a Post Graduate with 8+ years of experience in Product Development for Life insurance. Your strong leadership and communication skills will enable you to drive business growth and success.
