Job Title: Controls Testing Specialist

The primary function of this role is to assist in the development and execution of testing methodologies for critical key controls across various business domains.

This position involves assurance activities focused on resiliency material and critical controls testing, with potential opportunities to expand into other operational risk domains.

The specialist will be responsible for creating and implementing controls testing plans, as well as communicating and monitoring gaps in controls in line with the organization's risk management processes.

This will involve collaboration with other assurance functions across multiple lines of defense.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Controls Testing Manager in identifying and prioritizing testing activities during the assurance planning process.
  • Plan and execute control tests, including coordinating review processes with key stakeholders and managing the activities of control testing analysts.
  • Prepare draft reports reflecting the results of work performed and provide advice on appropriate solutions and remediation activities.
  • Present results to senior management to obtain buy-in and agreement on actions.
  • Coordinate activities throughout the review lifecycle with senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Data Analytics teams to identify opportunities for converting manual testing into analytics-based testing and continuous assurance activities.
