Key Qualifications
  • A Certified Accountant with at least 7 years of post qualification experience.
  • Strong proficiency in English, both written and oral.
Responsibilities
  1. Lead teams and Assurance engagements from start to finish.
  2. Prepare and review Assurance work papers and ensure compliance with policies and procedures and also regulatory requirements.
  3. Act as a point of contact for the team with clients. Manage and supervise team members including article staff.
  4. Coordinate with internal and external teams, including client personnel for information/data.
  5. Support the team on standardizing processes, documentation, analysis of technical issues, and research solutions.
  6. Participate in meetings with various teams and contribute towards areas and responsibilities handled.
  7. Stay up-to-date with business and industry trends.
  8. Ensure timely delivery as per defined timelines.
  9. Take ownership and accountability of delivering all aspects of the Assurance engagement.
  10. Be responsible for front-end management and internal/external quality review process for respective engagements and deliverables.
  11. Collaborate with teams, including experts and specialists involved in supporting delivery of Assurance engagements.
  12. Responsible for operational matters, including billing, collections, efficiency, and optimal utilization of efforts and resources, monitoring engagement budgets etc.
  13. Proactively take full responsibility of engagement deliverables.
  14. Support the Engagement Partner in managing communications, preparing and reviewing deliverables, discussions with stakeholders including boards, Assurance committees etc
  15. Coach and manage team members, including facilitating on-the-job training.
  16. Participate and undertake trainings and training programs on both technical and non-technical topics
  17. Contribute to firm and practice-related matters for the location and national initiatives.
  18. Participate and contribute towards business development initiatives, including pursuits and opportunities.
