Job Title: Head of Supply Chain Operations

Location: Global

Role Summary:

Lead the supply chain function to develop and execute effective sourcing strategies, ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Procurement & Planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and project timelines.
  • Operational Procurement: Oversee day-to-day procurement of project materials, ensure timely delivery, and manage bank guarantees, letters of credit.
  • Vendor & Contract Management: Build strong relationships with suppliers, evaluate and onboard new vendors, negotiate contracts, and resolve claims and disputes.
  • Systems & Tools: Lead adoption and improvement of procurement processes on ERP, PLM, and data analytics platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Production or MBA.
  • Experience: 15–20 years in project procurement with at least 5–7 years in a leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of project procurement, rate contracting, e-auctions, and technical specifications.
  • Leadership & Managerial Competencies: Ability to lead cross-functional teams, negotiate high-value sourcing, and drive team performance management.
