Job Title: Performance Engineer

  • We are looking for skilled performance engineers with excellent technical and communication skills to work on the performance testing of various software applications and technologies.
  • This role provides opportunities to design and conduct performance tests, identify performance tuning opportunities, and work with development engineers and functional analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Define, develop, and apply performance/scalability benchmarks.
  2. Work in cross-functional teams to characterize, debug, and improve system performance and scalability.
  3. Use profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks and conduct root cause analysis.
  4. Devise and run experiments to evaluate the performance impacts of system changes.
  5. Plan and execute performance tests using automated environments, analyze results.
  6. Participate in architecture and design reviews, ensuring quality in cross-team engineering efforts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on software testing experience.
  • Strong experience in performance testing of SAP applications.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, C++).
  • Experience with performance testing tools (LoadRunner, JMeter, SoapUI, Postman).
  • Knowledge of service-oriented architecture, RESTful APIs, and performance-tuning SQL queries.

Preferred Skills:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with JVM tuning techniques.
  • Experience with performance monitoring tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
  • Ability to efficiently use profiling tools to identify bottlenecks.
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
  • Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
  • Certifications like AWS Solutions Architect or GCP Associate Cloud Engineer are a plus.
