CNC Programmer Position

This is a full-time position that requires strong knowledge of generating G-code, CAD/CAM software, tooling, and machining processes to ensure precision, efficiency, and quality in production.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering and 2-3 years of experience as a CNC programmer. Proficiency with CAM software such as Alphacam, Fusion 360, Solidworks, etc., is necessary.

  • Develop, write, and test CNC programs for various machines.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining requirements.
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies.

This role involves collaborating with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot and refine processes. Performing first-article inspections and supporting production with technical expertise are also key responsibilities.

Maintaining documentation and program archives, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards are essential duties of this position.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
  • Proficiency with CAM software (e.g., Alphacam, Fusion 360, Solidworks, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of G-code, M-code, and CNC machine operations
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
