Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Security Operations Center (SOC) Specialist with a passion for information security and a drive to make a real impact. As a key member of our SOC team, you will be responsible for providing technical and functional support to the Level 1 (L1) Team, conducting incident investigations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve critical issues.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and analyze security incidents in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to established playbooks and procedures.
  • Collaborate with L1 Team members to provide analytical feedback and ensure seamless incident resolution.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of industry-recognized analysis frameworks, including Kill Chain, Diamond Model, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST Incident Response, and others.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and trends in the global threat environment, applying this knowledge to improve SOC processes and protocols.
  • Work closely with technical personnel from various disciplines to rapidly resolve critical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum business continuity.
  • Provide clear and concise communication to leadership on incident response efforts, proposing effective countermeasures and containment strategies as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in Information Security, with a minimum of 3+ years managing a SOC environment.
  • Proven expertise in Cloud Computing Fundamentals, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Firewall technologies.
  • A thorough understanding of fundamental security and network concepts, including operating systems, intrusion detection, TCP/IP, ports, and more.
