Job Summary

:

As a key member of the Bechtel team, you will play a crucial role in leading the progress reporting efforts for our EPC projects. Reporting directly to the Project Controls Manager, you will be responsible for establishing stakeholder relationships, collecting and analyzing data, and presenting insights through various reports. Your activities will focus on synthesizing project components into seamless execution, ensuring that our projects meet contractual obligations and deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Under the guidance of senior management, you will lead the administration of Project Controls activities, including input for weekly project action items, maintaining databases, and preparing monthly and weekly progress reports.
  2. You will coordinate with EPC Contractors to obtain data in the required format, content, and level of detail to meet Bechtel's contractual obligations.
  3. Implementing project reporting requirements in accordance with established Bechtel and client contractual requirements, objectives, and procedures will be a key aspect of your role.
  4. You will work closely with other supervisors and management team members to support PC and project operations.
  5. Coordinate routine cost engineering, planning, and scheduling needs to projects.
  6. Obtain required schedule information from all disciplines and functions.
  7. Identify schedule considerations and problems resulting from inter-discipline or functional restraints and interfaces.
  8. Monitor and report critical path and schedule performance of the total project.
  9. Collect and analyze alternatives for schedule improvement to discuss with the project team.
  10. Assist in the development and review of schedule recovery plans, including evaluation of additional resources and costs required to affect such plans.
  11. Coordinate cost recording, monitoring, and reporting practices for compliance with applicable standards.
  12. Develop and ensure the accuracy of cost reports.
  13. Verify consistency with previous reports to ensure compatibility and consistency.
  14. Work with senior managers to manage PERM performance requirements, metrics, and reporting standards, including suggestions related to risk breakdown structures, risk libraries, and risk identification tools and frameworks in support of project needs.
  15. Coordinate and participate in project risk reviews.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  1. A bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience are required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
  2. Experience working as a PMC or consultant on EPC projects of similar nature or working with a PMC in the role of EPC contractor in large EPC projects is preferred.
  3. Proficiency with PC operating systems and multiple software applications, including Microsoft Office, is required.
