Job Summary

:

As a key member of the Bechtel Corporation team, you will play a critical role in the success of our projects. Reporting to the Project Controls Manager, you will be responsible for leading the progress reporting efforts to fulfill contractual obligations. This involves establishing stakeholder relationships, collecting data, analyzing, and presenting through various reports. Your activities will synthesize project components into seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Under the guidance of senior management, you will display leadership in the administration of Project Controls activities, including input for weekly project action items lists, maintaining databases, preparing monthly/weekly progress reports, and Look ahead reports.
  2. You will coordinate with EPC Contractors to obtain data in the required form, format, content, and level of detail to meet contractual obligations.
  3. You will implement project reporting requirements in accordance with established Bechtel and client contractual requirements, objectives, and procedures.
  4. You will work with other supervisors and management team members to support PC and projects operations.
  5. You will coordinate routine cost engineering/planning and scheduling needs to projects.
  6. You will obtain required schedule information from all disciplines/functions.
  7. You will identify schedule considerations and problems resulting from inter-discipline or functional restraints and interfaces.
  8. You will monitor and report critical path and schedule performance of the total project.
  9. You will collect and analyze alternatives for schedule improvement to the project team for discussion and/or decision.
  10. You will assist, when requested, in the development and review of schedule recovery plans, including evaluation of additional resources/costs required to affect such plans.
  11. You will coordinate cost recording, monitoring, & reporting practices for compliance with applicable standards.
  12. You will coordinate the development and accuracy of cost reports.
  13. You will verify consistency with previous reports to ensure compatibility and consistency.
  14. You will work with more senior managers in managing PERM performance requirements, metrics, and reporting standards, including suggestions related to risk breakdown structures, risk libraries, & risk identification tools & frameworks in support of project needs.
  15. You will coordinate and participate in project risk reviews.

Requirements:

  1. You will require a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  1. You will be highly skilled in oral and written communication.
  2. You will have experience working as a PMC or consultant on EPC projects of similar nature or working with a PMC in the role of EPC contractor in large EPC projects.
  3. You will be proficient with PC operating systems and proficient in several software applications, including multiple discipline-specific software applications (Microsoft Office Applications, for example).
