Landing Gear Systems Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Landing Gear Systems Developer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the evaluation and selection of design solutions that balance technical and project perspectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and select design solutions that meet project requirements while considering technical feasibility.
  • Support the integration of landing gear systems through interface document development.
  • Lead qualification and certification activities for landing gear systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Define and oversee test and evaluation activities, including physical tests and simulations.
  • Manage system requirements and generate specifications for main and nose gear systems.
  • Control project timelines to ensure delivery on schedule and within quality standards.
  • Provide support for legacy military systems, addressing queries, defect reports, and operational occurrences.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Aircraft System Qualification and Certification expertise.
  • Process optimization, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Project management and work package coordination experience.
  • Landing Gear systems development and analysis expertise.
  • Verification & Validation skills, including lab and flight test analysis.
  • Design of Experiments (DOE) and test case creation experience.
  • Ability to manage large, complex projects.
  • Technical specification writing skills at equipment and system levels.
  • Software/systems engineering expertise, particularly in Integration & Verification testing.
  • Aerospace background with familiarity with industry standards.
  • Proficiency in tools like Catia V5, MSC ADAMS, MATLAB, Simulink, or IBM DOORS.
