Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting new hire training, soft skills, and negotiation skill training. They will also sensitize to training needs and understand the learning requirements of different learning groups.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct new hire training and soft skills/negotiation skill training
  • Complete monthly cyclic activities, including refresher training, update training, and PKT
  • Sensitize to training needs and understand learning requirements of different learning groups
  • Liaison with Quality and Operations to identify, screen, and execute process improvement plans
  • Execute training tasks/assignments on short notice
  • Deliver and contribute towards process improvement
Accountability:
  • Take accountability for new hires' performance during OJT period, including attrition
Functional/Operational:
  • Monitor calls of each advisor every week during OJT and provide immediate feedback
  • Provide regular feedback to Team Members regarding team performance and any issues that need escalation
  • Document feedback signed off by concerned parties
  • Monitor calls across teams (cross-monitoring) every month
  • Nominate and groom floorwalkers amongst the team regularly
  • Conduct process refreshers and policy refreshers
  • Nominate advisors to conduct buzz sessions
  • Handle all escalation calls for the team
  • Share good/bad calls and create product-level FAQs
  • Nominate hall of fame and hall of shame for OJT batch
  • Conduct buzz sessions for updates and share new information with the team, including targets for the day
  • Check login schedules
  • Manage attrition through regular communication with advisors and tracking EWS through changes in behavior, performance, and attendance
Preferred Skills:

  • New Hire Training: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for new hires, focusing on soft skills, negotiation skills, and other essential competencies.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with Quality and Operations teams to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly review team performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching as needed.
  • Communication: Foster open and transparent communication within the team, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Attrition Management: Work closely with advisors to address performance concerns and develop strategies to minimize attrition.
