Job Title: Sensor Design Engineer

Job Description:

As a Sensor Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and validation of various sensors for automotive applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive sensor technologies, including Hall, AMR, GMR, TMR, accelerometers, gyroscopes, pressure sensors, temperature sensors, and cameras.

You will work on designing and developing sensors using CAD software, simulation software, and test equipment. Your tasks will include simulating sensors and electronic circuits, conducting rigorous testing and validation to ensure performance specifications and safety standards are met.

In addition to technical skills, you should possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and validate sensors for automotive applications
  • Simulate sensors and electronic circuits using simulation tools
  • Conduct rigorous testing and validation to ensure performance specifications and safety standards are met
  • Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software
  • Perform fault finding in electronic circuits
  • Study and test benchmarking parts
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation
  • Perform DFMEA and Root cause analysis for quality issues

Qualifications and Skills:

A strong foundation in:

  • Automotive sensor technologies
  • Electronic circuit design and simulation
  • Software tools such as CAD, simulation software, and test equipment

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of working with electronic components
  • Experience with product lifecycle management tools
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools

Desirable skills:

  • Ability to work on electronic circuit simulation tools
  • Familiarity with vehicle architecture and flashing technology
