Dynamic Motion Engineer - Precision Automation

We're developing innovative, AI-driven agricultural systems that enhance farmer productivity and sustainability.

You'll design and implement cutting-edge motion control systems, collaborating with our AI and perception team to integrate precision automation and weed detection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-precision gimbal & motor control systems for real-time laser targeting applications.
  • Develop robust BLDC motor control algorithms ensuring microsecond precision in dynamic environments.
  • Integrate sensor fusion pipelines combining IMU, GNSS, RTK, odometry, and custom sensors to achieve precise localization and navigation.
  • Test and optimize control systems in real-world field conditions, accounting for dust, heat, vibrations, and uneven terrain.
  • Scale your work to multi-laser, multi-unit robotic platforms for efficient agricultural operations.
  • Implement safety protocols, redundancy, and fail-safe mechanisms for reliable field deployment.

Requirements:

  • Experience with precision positioning systems, BLDC motor control, and advanced control theory (PID, adaptive control, state-space).
  • Hands-on programming expertise in C++/Python on embedded systems, ROS/ROS2, and communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet).
  • Strong understanding of hardware-software interactions and the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team.
  • Experience working at the intersection of hardware, software, and field testing is highly valued.
