About Project Management Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and passionate project manager to join our team. As a key member of our implementation team, you will lead the delivery of projects that aim to develop reliable, efficient, and cutting-edge solutions for clients.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing day-to-day tasks of small teams while adhering to the scope, schedule, and budget of the project. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining PMO artifacts such as project plans and JIRA boards, tracking risks and issues, facilitating problem resolution, and providing project status reports.

As a liaison between technical teams and business users, you will ensure alignment and provide go-live and post-implementation support to ensure solution effectiveness. Strong customer relationships throughout the business and IT organizations are essential for this role.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain PMO artifacts, including project plans and JIRA boards.
  • Track risks and issues, facilitate problem resolution, and manage communication and escalation of issues.
  • Provide project status reports and debriefs to company leadership on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Oracle product teams, developers, testers, and project managers.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to ensure alignment.
  • Provide go-live and post-implementation support to ensure solution effectiveness.
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the business and IT organizations.
Requirements
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the Utilities domain.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience working in the utilities (water, gas, electric) industry.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (waterfall and agile).
  • Experienced in leading projects utilizing standard project management tools (MS project, JIRA, Smartsheet, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, promote effective communication, resolve conflict, and handle conflicting priorities.
  • Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills and a keen interest in delivering high-quality deliverables.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
