Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team at Tietoevry. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust cloud architectures that support user initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud architectures that optimize OpenStack, Linux, and CNIS-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software design teams to ensure seamless integration and full functionality across all infrastructure components.
  • Provide expert technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring successful deployment, operation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues within OpenStack environments and Linux systems, including hardware, software, and networking-related challenges.
  • Maintain technical documentation, including architecture designs, deployment guides, and troubleshooting manuals.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment between business goals and infrastructure design.
  • Participate in risk assessments and contribute to long-term project planning and infrastructure development.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive continuous innovation and improvement within the team.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in cloud execution environments, specifically with OpenStack deployments and optimizations.
  • Strong expertise in Linux Operating Systems, including deep knowledge of distributions such as Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, and Red Hat.
  • Proven experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux servers, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and technologies, especially private cloud infrastructures like OpenStack and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in hardware debugging tools and techniques, with the ability to resolve complex hardware-related issues.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as KVM and VMware, along with proficiency in containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with meticulous attention to detail in resolving infrastructure challenges.
  • Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, Python, or other scripting languages) to automate repetitive tasks and streamline operations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment and interact with stakeholders across the organization.
