Job Overview

At Emerson, we are seeking a skilled Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's Azure infrastructure. This includes managing cloud resources, services, and configurations, as well as performing regular monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Azure infrastructure: Establish and maintain effective Azure infrastructure processes, define and implement cloud resource management, and collaborate with developers to ensure efficient application deployment processes.
  • Manage and optimize cloud resources: Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain cloud resources, services, and configurations to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Collaborate with teams: Work closely with developers, QA, and other teams to create and implement solutions to optimize the CI/CD pipeline, automate everyday operations, and streamline the development, testing, and deployment process.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure, and related services.
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines, such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
  • Proficiency in source control systems, such as Git and Azure Repos, and experience with branching strategies.
  • Familiarity with containerization, such as Docker, and orchestration technologies, such as Kubernetes.
  • Strong automation and scripting skills, such as PowerShell and Python.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in DevOps, systems administration, or similar role.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
