Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure DevOps Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Azure cloud administration, with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. As a Azure DevOps Administrator, you will be responsible for handling and optimizing our Azure infrastructure, implementing DevOps practices, and ensuring seamless integration and deployment of applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Azure Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and handle scalable, secure, and resilient Azure cloud infrastructure. Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of Azure resources. Optimize resource allocation and cost management within the Azure environment.
  • DevOps Practices Implementation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps tools. Automate deployment processes to achieve zero-downtime and efficient releases. Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of code.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement and handle security standard methodologies for Azure resources. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Set up and handle monitoring solutions for proactive issue detection and resolution. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues promptly. Provide 24/7 support for critical incidents and perform root cause analysis.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with multi-functional teams, including developers, QA, and operations. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Document processes, configurations, and standard methodologies for knowledge sharing.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Azure services, tools, and standard methodologies. See opportunities for automation and process improvements. Drive innovation and efficiency within the cloud operations team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • At least 6 years of experience in Azure cloud administration and/or engineering.
  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including but not limited to Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, security standard processes, and cloud governance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under stress.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
  • Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
