Job Description: Performance and Endurance Testing Senior Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a Performance and Endurance Testing Senior Specialist to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of our Microsoft Fabric data platform, Power BI reporting, and React Native front-end accessed via an API gateway.

The role involves designing and executing test strategies, analyzing performance bottlenecks, and collaborating with teams to deliver high-performing systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute load, stress, scalability, and endurance tests using industry-standard tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, and Blazemeter.
  • Monitor system performance, analyze results, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide detailed reports and recommendations for optimization and tuning.
  • Build and maintain performance testing frameworks, integrating with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and architects to meet performance goals.
  • Serve as a performance advisor in Agile teams, providing expert guidance on optimizing system performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in performance/endurance testing of enterprise applications.
  • Strong expertise in data platforms, BI tools (Power BI), APIs, and mobile front-ends.
  • Proficiency in tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Blazemeter, CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Jenkins), and monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Azure Monitor).
  • Excellent scripting (Python, JavaScript) and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in Agile environments.
