Job Title

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Performance Engineering Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance systems, optimizing application performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement performance engineering strategies to optimize system performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify performance bottlenecks and develop enhancements.
  • Work closely with architects to gather non-functional requirements from stakeholders, prepare test plans, and develop relevant documentation.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and collaborate with developers, business, and clients in a highly collaborative and Agile environment.
  • Develop new ideas and strategies to continuously improve the process of performance engineering.
  • Provide recommendations to optimize code based on results of analysis and monitoring.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5-8 years of full-time experience as a Performance Test Engineer using JMeter.
  • Strong coding skills in Java or Python, with experience writing stubs/scripts on a large-scale implementation.
  • Knowledge of performance monitoring tools, including Perfmon, .NET CLR Tools, Visual Studio Concurrency Analyzer, and Perfview.
  • Understanding of distributed system architecture, memory management, profiling, and server/client performance testing.
  • Experience in .NET applications and performance tuning.
  • Experience in containerization and container management.
  • Good understanding of cloud architecture, specifically on AWS and/or Azure and/or Google Cloud, and capacity planning of the infrastructure.
  • Skills in performance testing microservices architecture, middleware technologies, data integration, and API Gateway.
