This Position reports to:

Sales Director

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completing the corresponding engineering assignments.

The work model for the role is: on-site.

This role is contributing to the Robot and Discrete Automation team.

You will be mainly accountable for:

- Coordinate and support the sales team by assessing task potential, conducting technical presentations, delegating tasks based on priority and workload, and ensuring timely and high-quality application development and project closures.
- Monitor and guide the application team's performance by reviewing progress, handling escalations, maintaining effective communication, ensuring adherence to coding standards, and submitting regular reports to management.
- Promote teamwork and a systematic work culture by motivating team members, planning technical upgrades and training, maintaining skill matrices, and aligning individual growth with organizational goals.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and clear communication with customers, sales, and internal teams, ensuring smooth project execution from specifications to closure, while maintaining a broad organizational perspective.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

- Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, instrumentation, or mechatronics engineering, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in application development and support, ideally within multinational companies operating in the Indian business environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial automation systems including PLCs, drives, motors, motion control, and robotic systems familiarity with Industrial IoT market requirements is preferred.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships in fast-paced, competitive markets, with the ability to network effectively in multicultural environments.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels while maintaining professionalism and integrity.
- Fluency in English and Hindi, both written and spoken knowledge of additional local languages is a plus.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 60% as required for business needs.
