Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Automated Test Engineer. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions by designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts.
About the Role:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of software applications.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects with detailed documentation.
- Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.
- Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes to enhance efficiency and coverage.
- Conduct performance and regression testing to ensure system stability and scalability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a bachelors degree in computer science or information technology and at least 5 years of experience in quality assurance and test automation.
Proficiency in test automation tools such as selenium, appium or similar frameworks is required.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies is necessary for success in this role.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is preferred.
Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments and tools is also desired.
