Job Title: Mechanical Systems Specialist

Wash System Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of new wash system solutions for washing machines and dryers in India and globally.
  • Apply analytical tools to create USP (Unique Selling Proposition) developments and algorithm design for home appliances.
  • Identify and resolve potential risks through DFMEA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues with efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with consumer and process partners to meet their requirements.
  • Broaden understanding of customer and marketing expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in product/technology development and testing in home appliances, preferably in dryer/refrigeration/AC/WMC domains.
  • Knowledge of global energy and performance standards such as AHAM, IEC 60456, and IS Standards.
  • Strong theoretical knowledge of fluid dynamics and detergent chemistry.
  • Excellent communication, project, and team management skills.
  • Ability to travel within India, S. Korea, or other parts of the world for short or long durations.

Desired Skills:

  • Proficiency in system programming languages, especially Python.
  • In-depth knowledge of interfacing sensors, both analog and digital.
  • Experience with CAD software, refrigeration, or air condition cycle design will be a plus.
  • Exposure to Six-Sigma methodology, with black belt certification being an advantage.
  • Working experience with global teams.
  • Fluency in Korean language (speak, read, write) is an added advantage.
