Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Product Owner with expertise in Controlling, Product Costing, and Financial Planning & Analysis to partner with product stakeholders and customers globally across the organization.

This role requires a strong background in developing and maintaining the roadmap for SAP S/4HANA and surround systems, focusing on product costing, controlling, and FP&A.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with product stakeholders to develop and maintain the roadmap for SAP S/4HANA and surround systems.
  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of Functional Engineers in the FI-CO space, emphasizing product costing, controlling, and FP&A.
  • Offer business and functional understanding of end-to-end process design in FI-CO, along with knowledge of controlling, product costing, and FP&A, to provide recommendations based on industry best practices.
  • Establish and execute a strong engagement plan with global and regional stakeholders.
  • Proactively explore industry trends and advancements in FI-CO, focusing on product costing, controlling, and FP&A, to identify new solutions that impact business objectives and drive growth.
  • Develop partnerships with SAP and other strategic vendors for products in the portfolio, participating in RFP processes.
  • Support implementation of enhancements to current S/4HANA controlling, product costing, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP PaPM, and Hana Cloud systems, working with 3rd party support teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and Finance, to understand business requirements related to product costing, controlling, and FP&A, and translate them into digital solutions.
  • Participate in the S/4 Hana Global project (The EDGE) to upgrade from SAP ECC to S/4HANA.
  • Manage a team of SAP and FP&A professionals globally, including hiring, training, and mentoring team members.
  • Collaborate with external partners to stay up-to-date on new SAP technologies and recommend improvements to SAP systems.
  • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities to improve system efficiency, addressing any system-related issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with SAP product costing, controlling, and FP&A modules is essential to ensure accurate and efficient cost calculations for products and services.
