We invite applications for the role of an Accounts Payable Specialist.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the Accounts Payable function and assisting associates in identifying and implementing AP improvements.
This involves managing all activities related to accounts payable, including calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data, and providing clerical support necessary to pay organizational obligations.
In this role, you will review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval, verify and calculate extensions and totals on invoices, check vendor files for previous payments, prepare vouchers, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
To succeed in this position, you will require significant experience in finance and accounting, with a strong understanding of accounting concepts and processes.
You will also need excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and proficiency in MS Excel and Word. ERP knowledge, such as SAP or PeopleSoft, is an added advantage.
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
