Job Title: Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

We are looking to onboard three professionals for a remote Quality Engineer role, which offers a unique opportunity for career growth.

You will be responsible for

  • Ensuring that software bugs are detected early in the Software Development Lifecycle, working closely with development teams to promote continuous alignment and improvement.
  • Implementing automated tests for multiple testing scenarios in the context of various country instances and requirements.
  • Continuously extending the coverage of automation tests to support early detection of bugs and risks, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
  • Collaborating with country distribution and core domain squads to ensure software quality goals are being achieved through effective communication and teamwork.
  • Proposing process improvements in the context of our continuous improvement strategy, and driving their implementation to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Mastering all the needed tools and components required to perform assigned tasks, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Following the software development best practices and methodologies adopted by our company, ensuring consistency and excellence in all aspects of work.
  • Producing relevant documentation and guidelines to support the quality as everyone's responsibility strategy, promoting a culture of accountability and ownership.

You will require the following qualifications and skills:

  • Solid experience with automated testing, with at least 7 years of experience in software development and testing.
  • Knowledge of at least one software development language, such as Java, Python, or C++.
  • Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, or similar technologies for automated testing and validation.
  • Experience building automated test suites for build/regression testing, ensuring thoroughness and effectiveness.
  • Experience with Jenkins, CircleCI, Bamboo, or similar tools for continuous integration and deployment.

The following qualifications are not mandatory, but will be valued:

  • Experience building Load/Stress Tests using tools such as JMeter, Blazemeter, Apache Benchmark, or similar, to simulate real-world scenarios and improve system reliability.
  • Experience in a continuous integration/deployment environment, ensuring seamless deployment and scalability.
  • Experience building tests in the context of a microservice/SOA architecture, to cater to complex systems and distributed environments.
  • Experience testing interfaces and APIs using SOAP-UI, Rest-Assured, or similar tools, to ensure robust and secure API integrations.
