About the Role

We are seeking an India-based candidate to join our growing team as a Country Lead. This role drives business development efforts and facilitates the energy transition through innovative, finance-focused approaches. The successful candidate will lead market expansion initiatives and manage complex projects aligning with our mission to advance climate and energy solutions.

About You

  • You have 8-10 years of experience in climate, energy transition, finance, and business development.
  • Exceptional communication skills and strong connections within the Indian power and/or finance community.
  • A deep understanding of India's electricity, capital, and financial markets.
  • Proven track record in deal closure, particularly in debt and/or equity financing in India, including project finance, private debt, loan syndication, and structured finance.
  • Prior experience in country team management or a supervisory role is preferred.
  • You are highly professional and reliable in your approach.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling is required.
  • You are a strong team player with the ability to manage both teams and large transactions.
  • Proven success in client management.
  • You are entrepreneurial, creative, and self-driven.
