Operations Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to join our team. As an Operations Coordinator, you will oversee the coordination and execution of order fulfillment activities ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products and services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of production planning, inventory management, logistics processes, and operations procedures. You will collaborate closely with the production, engineering, sales, and customer service teams to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

  • Develop and maintain the production build plan, incorporating new updates on a daily basis.
  • Validate and verify slotting tool and build plan on a weekly basis.
  • Approve all open and new orders, create and manage all tool and option orders in the system.
  • Manage shortages and material expediting, daily tool configuration changes and updates.
  • Work with the shipping department to ensure proper packing and shipment of orders.
  • Coordinate outsourcing supply planning and forecast, purchase order management, and troubleshoot invoice and material receipt issues.
  • Manage spare part allocation and shipment, supporting field service teams.
  • Support finance and accounting processes, including customer returns and invoice troubleshooting.
  • Manage case and quote management, tool and options quotes and order entry, and customer relationship management.
  • Oversee new product introduction processes, including BOM and part number creation/changes, and expediting materials and placing part orders.

This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and two to five years prior work experience in operations or production planning.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of managing complex processes and projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel, proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.
  • Prior ERP hands-on usage experience is preferred.
