Job Title: Senior Software Test Lead


Job Description

  • Proficient in creating Requirement Traceability Matrix for Tests designed to ensure thorough testing.
  • Skilled in selecting and executing test cases that meet automation criteria, ensuring efficient testing processes.
  • Performing System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to guarantee seamless system functionality.
  • Responsible for reporting defects, collaborating with developers and business analysts, and tracking defect aging for timely resolution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong logical thinking abilities, are essential for success in this role.
  • A good learner, self-starter, and team player will thrive in this environment, driving growth and excellence.
  • Flexibility to travel and work at various customer sites is required for this position.

Requirements

  • Preferred experience in Health Insurance/Motor Insurance/Travel Insurance/Property and Casualty industries.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in core software testing, with a focus on requirement traceability and test case development.
  • Ability to prepare scenarios and derive test cases from them, ensuring comprehensive testing coverage.
  • Proactive approach to test execution, defect discussion, logging, risk identification, and mitigation is crucial for success.
  • Familiarity with SQL queries, databases, and running basic queries is necessary.
  • Hands-on experience with Test Management tools (e.g., Quality Center) and Defect Management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) is essential.
  • Education: Any graduate with an IT background is preferred.
