Database Technical Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Database Technical Lead to join our team. As a Database Technical Lead, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, releasing, maintaining, and providing technical support for database development projects.

  • Develop new and review existing PL/SQL packages, procedures to support development efforts.
  • Design, develop, test, release, maintain, and provide technical support for database development projects.
  • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup solutions for databases.
  • Analyze query execution plans and optimize queries for speed and resource utilization.
  • Work closely with developers, system administrators, and data analysts to support database-related needs.
  • Develop scripts and tools for database monitoring, management, and automation.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex database issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Oracle (RDBMS) Database and hands-on experience with SQL Tuning.

You will lead a team of database developers, guiding them towards designing and developing robust database systems.

Responsibilities include implementing new business features based on requirement specification/technical design, fixing bugs in existing applications, refactoring existing code, executing development tests, creating unit tests, and participating in creating internal business specifications.

This role requires strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interact with confidence and clarity.
