We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to design and implement scalable data solutions using PostgreSQL, AWS infrastructure, and open-source technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain a database for analytics and reporting.
  • Develop pipelines (batch and streaming) for ingestion, transformation, and storage.
  • Architect and maintain a data lake on cloud infrastructure.
  • Optimize queries, indexing, and schema design for performance and scalability in databases.
Collaboration & Delivery
  • Work with product, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable models and pipelines.
  • Provide technical expertise for data-driven decision-making.
Data Quality & Governance
  • Implement quality checks, lineage tracking, and metadata management.
  • Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
Future-Readiness
  • Stay current with modern tools and frameworks.
  • Guide on evaluating and integrating new platforms as needed.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in engineering or platform development.
  • Expertise in PostgreSQL: advanced SQL, query optimization, schema design, and data modeling.
  • Strong experience building pipelines using programming languages or open-source frameworks.
  • Proficiency with cloud services.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with hosted data warehousing platforms.
  • Knowledge of data governance and cataloging tools.
  • Cloud certifications.
  • Experience in regulated industries.
