Job Title: Oracle UIM Expert

Description

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with expertise in Oracle Unified Inventory Management (UIM) to join our team. This role provides the opportunity to work with multiple Oracle Communications OSS stack products and contribute to designing, implementing, and managing complex OSS inventory solutions.

This position involves leading UIM cartridge development, installation, and configuration, configuring extension points and rule sets for advanced customization, modeling both logical and physical inventory within UIM cartridges, integrating UIM with upstream and downstream systems using standard and custom web services, UIM APIs, and SFWS.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, support end-to-end implementations while ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have strong expertise in Oracle UIM (7.2.x), experience in cartridge development, rule set development, and customization, proficiency in UNIX/Linux environments and Unix shell scripting, core technical skills in Java, PL/SQL, and WebServices (development and debugging).

You should also have knowledge of network domains such as Wireless, Cable, DSL, and VoIP, exposure to Enterprise and Retail Voice/Data/GSM implementations, conceptual modeling knowledge for logical and physical inventory, familiarity with Oracle RODOD/RSDOD and TMF/eTOM, SID Data Model standards, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities, ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.

A BE/BTech/MCA/MTech in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications is required.
