Job Title: Senior Renewable Energy Expert

Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the Renewable Energy sector to take on a senior role as a Team Leader for an 18-month position. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing advisory packages, conducting thorough evaluations of substation performance, and performing Power Flow Studies using tools such as ETAP.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversight of advisory packages to ensure high-quality deliverables and meeting deadlines.
  2. Conduct thorough evaluations of substation performance, analyzing electrical and automation aspects, identifying bottlenecks, and suggesting upgrade requirements.
  3. Perform Power Flow Studies to assess load conditions, voltage stability, and network strengthening recommendations using tools such as ETAP.
  4. Generate detailed Equipment Condition Reports for critical substation assets, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  5. Evaluation of PV Plant Feasibility & Performance, analyzing generation performance, grid compliance, and integration feasibility.
  6. Main point of contact with the Client and engagement with state government officials and DISCOMs.
  7. Lead project personnel, manage team members, and ensure project deployment within budget.
  8. Timely reporting as per contractual milestones.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • University degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Renewable Energy, with 6 years in Solar Energy and grid integration exposure.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Deep technical knowledge of solar PV and distribution grid operations.
  • Proven project management expertise with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities for strategic recommendations.
