Job Overview

Kauvery Hospital seeks a Procurement Manager who can efficiently manage procurement activities, identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating cost-effective purchases, and ensuring timely availability of raw materials and consumables.

We are looking for an individual with strong negotiation and communication skills, knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and supply chain operations.

Responsibilities
  • Purchasing:
  • Selecting Suppliers:
  • Negotiating Contracts:
  1. Select vendors based on quality, price, and delivery terms.
  2. Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
  3. Negotiate payment conditions and contracts with vendors.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Sourcing Strategies:
  • Cross-Functional Coordination:
  1. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the stores/warehouse for replenishment.
  2. Develop alternate sourcing strategies to ensure uninterrupted supply.
  3. Work closely with production, quality, accounts, and logistics teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Supply Chain / Engineering / Management.
  • 2–5 years of experience in procurement/purchase in a manufacturing/industrial setup.
  • Knowledge of local and international sourcing preferred.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems / MS Office.
  • Vendor relationship management.
  • Cost-conscious with attention to detail.
