Job Description

As a seasoned Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing database solutions to support business requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software and provide innovative solutions to complex business and technology problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop database solutions to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with programming teams to deliver high-quality software.
  • Provide expert knowledge in database installation, configuration, replication, upgradation, security and HADR setup.
  • Experience in database deployment, performance and troubleshooting issues.
  • Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL and experience working with cloud platforms and services.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Expert knowledge in PL/SQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Strong query optimization skills.
  • Experience with multiple RDBMS and relational databases of TB data size preferably PostgreSQL.
  • Must be well-versed in Unix, shell and PHP scripting languages.
  • Experience in migrating database environments from one platform to another.
  • Knowledge of big data technologies and DWH.
