ERP Technology Operations Lead

The ERP TechOps Operation Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring the availability, updatability, performance, and security of the ERP landscape. This position requires strong technical operational expertise to handle all aspects of the ERP stack, including incidents, problems, and change service requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing technical support for ERP technology solutions, primarily SAP.
  • Ensuring SAP solutions within their technology area are secure and compliant with internal standards and external regulations.
  • Developing measures to improve Security Compliance Index and providing guidance to product teams.
  • Guiding optimal use of technology to deliver business requirements cost-effectively.
  • Sustaining complex applications and business capabilities.
  • Reviewing risks, compliance parameters, and metrics to support deployment and remediation of security vulnerabilities.
  • Supporting the integration of solutions with various technologies.
  • Ensuring all solutions within their technology area are secure and compliant.

This role also involves working on audit needs and SOX compliance across the landscape, as well as supporting Partner Governance team to ensure quality of service from partners.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience leading teams and balancing conflicting priorities.
  • 15+ years SAP Basis hands-on and Technical Architecture experience required.
  • A history of playing an SAP BASIS Lead role for large (50+ instances) SAP Environment.
  • Technical expertise in SAP ECC, APO, BW, Azure Hosting, DB - Oracle, HANA, Netweaver, PI/PO, Solution Manager, GRC.
  • Ability to manage escalation at Director level and communicate effectively with senior management.
  • Azure Compute Management (Linux, Compute Managed Disk).
