Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Growth Strategist to spearhead our efforts in accelerating user acquisition and retention across fintech products.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in defining and optimizing growth funnels, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring alignment across departments to maximize business impact.
About the Opportunity
Our platform has nearly 4 million monthly active users with 15% of this being daily active users; we have an installed base of almost 58 million. Our platform offers customers free and unlimited access to their bureau scores from two bureaus: CIBIL and Experian.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement holistic growth strategies for various acquisition and engagement channels including:
- Mobile app
- Website
- Drive acquisition and retention for the APP and Web
- And the same for monetization use cases, currently, Personal Loans
- Responsibility for delivering month on month Personal Loan Volumes
- Stakeholder Management: Manage and coordinate with key partners such as Google and Meta to optimize growth campaigns and platform integrations. Build and maintain strong relationships with merchant partners to facilitate co-marketing and promotional activities.
- Experimentation & Innovation: Drive growth by designing and scaling experimentation frameworks, leveraging beta tools and new features introduced by partners like Google and Meta. Continuously identify and integrate emerging growth opportunities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with analytics, product, and finance teams to monitor KPIs, analyze campaign performance, and iterate marketing strategies accordingly.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture focused on continuous learning and results.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
- A deep understanding of consumer acquisition and consumer interaction with digital apps.
- 6-8 years of experience in growth marketing, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry.
- Strong experience with digital marketing platforms, including Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, and other growth tools.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Expertise in agile project and sprint management methodologies.
- Demonstrated success in devising and executing growth strategies that leverage app and web platforms.
- Deep understanding of customer acquisition funnels and referral programs.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into actionable growth plans.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Personal Loan monetization is preferable.
- Familiarity with fintech products and customer behavior.
- Hands-on experience with growth-related tools and platforms.
- Strong knowledge of programming/scripting for data analysis (Python, R) is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
