Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned engineer to lead the development of innovative solutions that transform the customer experience.

This role will involve designing and implementing architectural and design principles to improve performance, capacity, and scalability of our products.

  • Developing quality software by practicing software engineering principles and best practices.
  • Embracing First Time Right, Automation, Reusability, Maintainability, and Secure Coding in your everyday work.
  • Crafting holistic designs for development using a Test-Driven Development approach to ensure reusability & extensibility of capabilities in future versions.

You will work closely with various stakeholders to identify the scope of the project, estimate-create a timeline, and come up with the approach and design for the features/epics.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing architectural and design principles to improve performance, capacity, and scalability of product.
  • Working in a SAFe Agile model with other developers, BA's, Architects to ensure that the end business & performance goals are met.
  • Driving conversations with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the software delivered meets the business objectives and with the highest quality.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Java, .Net, Oracle, SQL and web services software architecture and design (REST/SOAP).
  • Exposure to cloud applications including DevOps, Deployment, Jenkins, Jira.
  • Experience in RESTFul Webservices & API framework, OAS3 APIs

You will also need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering; Master's degree a plus
  • Experience with Agile Development practices and processes.
  • Experience with cloud-based software development preferably in banking, insurance or financial services areas.
