Software Engineering Project Lead

As a seasoned project lead in software engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of projects and programs from start to finish. This involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that priorities are aligned, execution is visible, and project outcomes are met.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Program Strategy and Planning: Define and manage the scope, goals, and roadmap of software projects.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate efforts across multiple software development teams and technical team members.
  • Milestone Planning and Progress Tracking: Facilitate milestone planning and progress tracking to ensure transparency throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Delivery Management: Monitor and report on project and program progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Manage project and program issues, maintaining risk mitigation plans and contingency strategies.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management in software engineering or a related technical field.
  • Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, SAFe, or equivalent.
