Financial Leadership Role

As a seasoned financial leader, you will be responsible for guiding the finance and accounts department towards strategic growth. Key responsibilities include:

Strategic Financial Management
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Review management reports to provide insightful analysis and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement effective month-end/year-end closing and audit processes in alignment with statutory requirements.
Treasury & Risk Management
  • Manage daily cash flow and optimize working capital utilization to drive business growth.
  • Monitor and manage treasury operations, including investments, surplus fund management, and interbranch transfers to minimize risk.
  • Liaise with financial institutions to secure cost-effective funding and negotiate favorable terms.
Taxation & Compliance
  • Evaluate and implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize refunds.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all statutory returns, including GST, TDS, PF, PT, ESIC, Advance Tax, and Income Tax.
  • Collaborate with external consultants and legal advisors to resolve tax assessments and notices.
Audit & Governance
  • Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure adherence to governance policies and procedures to maintain transparency and accountability.
Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead and mentor the finance, accounts, and compliance teams to drive performance and growth.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to inform business decisions and drive revenue growth.
  • Empower team members through training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in financial leadership roles, with expertise in taxation laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Industry-Specific Skills:

  • Deep understanding of Indian accounting standards and tax laws.
  • Knowledge of treasury operations, including cash management and risk assessment.
  • Familiarity with banking systems and financial instruments.
