Senior Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the development and implementation of scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-native applications on AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable cloud-native applications on AWS.
  • Lead the implementation of containerized environments using Kubernetes (EKS/OpenShift).
  • Automate infrastructure using Terraform or AWS CDK.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production-ready solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and conduct code/architecture reviews.
  • Optimize performance and ensure observability using tools like Datadog.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • AWS or other Cloud Certifications are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Technical Requirements:

  • Proficiency in modern programming languages: TypeScript, Python, Go.
  • Strong experience with AWS Serverless (e.g., AWS Lambda).
  • Deep understanding of AWS-managed databases: RDS, DynamoDB.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS EKS/ECS, or OpenShift.
  • Proven CI/CD experience with tools like GitLab CI, GitHub, Jenkins, ArgoCD.
  • Familiarity with Git, Jira, Confluence.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • AWS networking: API Gateway.
  • AWS storage services: S3.
  • Exposure to AWS AI/ML: SageMaker, Bedrock, Amazon Q.
