Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Overview

  • This position requires a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to manage and maintain our cloud infrastructure on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage cloud infrastructure on OCI, including setup of Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), creation of compute instances, block volumes, object storage, and other related resources.
  • Develop and maintain Terraform scripts for automation of cloud infrastructure deployments and management.
  • Perform performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required to ensure high availability of the infrastructure.
  • Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required and ensure high availability of infrastructure.
  • Experience with IaaS solutions: virtual machines/networks, on-premise/hybrid cloud computing, cloud identity, security models, cloud monitoring, logging, local and cloud storage.
  • Handle Certificate renewals on OCI and manage HA architecture in an OCI environment.
  • Strong understanding of HA concepts in DR and setting up on Infrastructure for DR Site.
  • Migration experience and use of migration tools.
  • Performance management and Cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Assist in making decisions around solution designs and develop technical delivery plans.
  • Exposure to using code repository like GIT and knowledge of multi-cloud exposure is a plus.
Requirements
  • 4-10 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure Administration or related field.
  • Certified OCI Architect Associate/Professional is mandatory. Certification in OCI Migration and Integration Specialist, OCI Security Associate/Professional, and OCI Cloud Operations Associate are preferred.
  • Knowledge of AWS or Azure is beneficial but not necessary.
