Job Title: Assistant Professor of Neurology and Orthopedics

Location: Bhavnagar, Gujarat

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary - 25K fix with food and accommodation

Overview: The Department of Neurology and Orthopedics at EducoHire seeks a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Professor to join our faculty. This position combines clinical practice, teaching, and research in both neurology and orthopedic medicine. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic mission of the department, mentoring students and residents, and advancing research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Clinical Duties:
    • Provide high-quality patient care in neurology and orthopedics.
    • Participate in outpatient clinics and inpatient rounds.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  2. Teaching:
    • Develop and deliver lectures, workshops, and clinical training sessions for medical students, residents, and fellows.
    • Mentor students in research projects and clinical skills.
    • Participate in curriculum development and assessment.
  3. Research:
    • Conduct innovative research in areas related to neurology and orthopedics.
    • Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at national conferences.
    • Secure funding through grants and collaborate with other researchers.
  4. Service:
    • Participate in departmental, university, and community service activities.
    • Contribute to committees focused on improving patient care and educational programs.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation or Post graduation MD,DO
  • Board certification or eligibility in Neurology and/or Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Proven record of research and scholarly activity.
  • Strong teaching and mentoring abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fellowship training in a sub-specialty of neurology or orthopedics.
  • Experience in medical education and curriculum development.
  • A track record of funded research projects.
