Overview: The Department of Neurology and Orthopedics at Institution Name seeks a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Professor to join our faculty. This position combines clinical practice teaching and research in both neurology and orthopedic medicine. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic mission of the department mentoring students and residents and advancing research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Duties:

    • Provide highquality patient care in neurology and orthopedics.
    • Participate in outpatient clinics and inpatient rounds.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

  • Teaching:

    • Develop and deliver lectures workshops and clinical training sessions for medical students residents and fellows.
    • Mentor students in research projects and clinical skills.
    • Participate in curriculum development and assessment.

  • Research:

    • Conduct innovative research in areas related to neurology and orthopedics.
    • Publish findings in peerreviewed journals and present at national conferences.
    • Secure funding through grants and collaborate with other researchers.

  • Service:

    • Participate in departmental university and community service activities.
    • Contribute to committees focused on improving patient care and educational programs.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation or Post graduation MDDO
  • Board certification or eligibility in Neurology and/or Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Proven record of research and scholarly activity.
  • Strong teaching and mentoring abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fellowship training in a subspecialty of neurology or orthopedics.
  • Experience in medical education and curriculum development.
  • A track record of funded research projects.
