Database Administrator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to oversee the day-to-day operation and management of our Snowflake data warehouse. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to work in a collaborative team environment and make a significant impact on the company's data management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Database Management: Optimize Snowflake databases for speed and efficiency, implement and maintain database security policies, and monitor Snowflake usage and costs.
  2. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to align database architecture with business requirements and provide on-call support for critical database issues.
  3. Data Expertise: Have in-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture, including data warehousing, data modeling, and performance tuning, as well as strong proficiency in Snowflake SQL and expertise in role-based access control (RBAC).
  4. Large-Scale Data Environment Management: Proven ability to manage large-scale data environments with a focus on stability, performance, and security.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in database administration, with a strong emphasis on Snowflake.
  • In-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture, including data warehousing, data modeling, and performance tuning.
  • Strong proficiency in Snowflake SQL and expertise in role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale data environments with a focus on stability, performance, and security.
