Snowflake Data Architect

As a highly skilled Snowflake data architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data warehouses to support business growth.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture, including data warehousing, data modeling, and performance tuning. They will be able to optimize database performance, manage large-scale data environments, and ensure data security and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data warehouses using Snowflake technology.
  • Optimize database performance and scalability.
  • Maintain high availability and reliability of the database.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align database architecture with business requirements.
  • Monitor database usage, costs, and performance metrics, and make recommendations for cost optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in database administration, with a strong emphasis on Snowflake.
  • In-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture, including data warehousing, data modeling, and performance tuning.
  • Strong proficiency in Snowflake SQL and expertise in role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale data environments with a focus on stability, performance, and security.

Skills:

  • Experience with private equity data environments is a plus.
  • Certifications or training in Snowflake or other cloud-based data platforms.
