Job Title: Technical Content Author

We are seeking an experienced Technical Content Author to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying and revising technical documentation for various aircraft models.

About the Role:

This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that technical content meets the required standards and is delivered on time.

Responsibilities:
  • Create, modify and revise technical documentation, including illustrated parts catalogues (IPCs), configuration management and criteria analysis.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Airbus standards, tools and processes.
  • Work independently on project details, supplier drawings and technical specifications for customers.
  • Analyze information and structure it in an efficient manner.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Creation/revision of IPCs according to Ispec2200 standards.
  • Prepare mockups for illustrators.
  • Adhere to quality procedures defined in the quality system.
  • Report to project leaders on regular basis to anticipate project deviations, progress and internal/external problems.
  • Coordinate with customers proactively.
Requirements:
  • Experience working on SAP PCS for authoring IPC/configuration management/criteria analysis.
  • Awareness of impact analysis to create content meeting change requests.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and procedures.
