Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Technical Author/ Technical illustrator located in Bengaluru. The Technical Author will be responsible for creating, editing, and updating technical documentation, manuals, and other related materials. Day-to-day tasks include technical writing, communication, and ensuring all documentation meets the latest standards and regulatory requirements. The role also involves collaborating with engineers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and verify the accuracy of the content.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in Technical Documentation & Illustration
  • Proficiency in Technical Communication and Writing with attention to detail
  • Hands-on experience in creating user manuals, maintenance guides, and technical content
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Familiarity with aerospace and automotive industry standards (S1000D preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Engineering, or a related field
